Eddie Olmeda, from Blythewood, SC, originally played at Lancaster. There, he achieved first team all-conference, along with runner-up conference player of the year. He coached a legion team in SC, and he finished his career playing at Johnson University. He is currently a Trainer for D1 Smoky Mountains. Connor O'Donnel is from Knoxville, TN, and he pitched at Cleveland State Community College. He is currently the assistant pitching coach for Hardin Valley Academy. Eddie and Connor both strive to develop their players with their knowledge, along with all of their experiences within the game of baseball. Our 17/18 teams will prepare guys for varsity high school baseball, along with consistently giving guys opportunities for, and/or send guys to play collegiately after they finish their final high school seasons, if they are willing to and able to.

Logan Galbreath, from Nashville, TN, and Tyler Phillips, from Anderson County High School, both began their collegiate careers at Johnson University in 2021. Logan was recruited and played as a pitcher throughout his career, and Tyler was a recruited and played alongside Logan as an outfielder. Together, their strengths mesh amazingly as they’re able to coach from all sides of the field: pitching, defense, offense, base running, you name it!. We are excited to welcome both Logan and Tyler on board with us at Ice Baseball, and we’re excited for each of their athletes to experience the great knowledge and energy that these guys will bring each and every day!

Luke Vest is our owner and operator of Ice Baseball. He played at Johnson, where he went on to become an assistant coach. He is now coaching at Hardin Valley Academy. Luke is committed to preparing athletes to develop and compete moving forward, as well as providing athletes with the opportunity to play at the next level with his connections across the southeast. His pitching coach, Matthew Meade, was recruited by Johnson University He transferred to Pellissippi State, and he is currently committed to play Division I baseball at MTSU. This team has the potential to take our program to the next level.

Nolan Cusey, originally from Dana Point, California, began collegiately at Irvine Valley College. He went on to further and complete his collegiate career at Johnson University. Nolan will help manage Ice Baseball as we are expanding our reach into Chattanooga, Cleveland, and Athens areas in the near future, but for now, he will coach our Team Ice 15u. Last season, Nolan did an awesome job and received great reports as the head coach over our Team Ice 16u. As an incredible athlete, and with his vast experiences and intelligence of this game, we are excited to have Nolan in a major role with Ice Baseball. His assistant, Matthew Champion, will provide a ton of help towards the pitching side with the team’s development there. He played at Hardin Valley Academy and already has coaching experience under his belt. This team has all the potential for something special, and come check it out for yourself!

Tre and Noah are brothers, and both played at Knoxville Central High School. Tre is currently playing at Johnson University, and Noah is committed to play for Milligan University. Tre has multiple years of experience coaching at this age group and with us, and each have a plan to follow a successful path within and through our program. Tre aims to be a leader by example, especially being someone that these players who are younger can look up to He is bringing along valuable knowledge and experiences within baseball, and he strives to do an excellent job in developing his athletes.

Cole Wessel and Chris Peters both attended Knoxville Central High School. Cole furthered his collegiate career while he currently plays at Milligan University, and Chris is currently playing at Roane State Community College. Each of these coaches are incredible, not just athletically, but also as people. Come see for yourself and take advantage of all of the great qualities they have to offer!

Andrew Lewis and Boone Fields both attended Hardin Valley Academy, where Andrew made the decision to continue his academic and athletic career at Pellissippi State Community College. Boone is currently extending his career academically and athletically at Division II, Carson-Newman University. Both of these coaches are ready to provide an amazing amount of energy every practice and game while being able to connect to these athletes on a real level.
